The PE and Sport Premium is a government funding initiative in England aimed at improving physical education (PE) and sports provision in primary schools. The funding is provided to primary schools to help them enhance the quality of PE and sports activities they offer to their students.
At Harold Wood Primary School, with the PE and Sport Premium we aim to:
1. Improved Facilities and Equipment: invest in better facilities and equipment for physical education and sports activities.
2. Professional Development for Staff: provide training and professional development opportunities for teachers and staff involved in delivering PE and sports programs.
3. Increased Participation Opportunities: expand extracurricular sports clubs, activities, and competitions within the school.
4. Promotion of Health and Wellbeing: implement initiatives aimed at promoting health and wellbeing among students.
