Harold Wood Primary School is a school with many dimensions. We are proud of our dedicated, caring staff who provide the children with a sound framework of education whilst encompassing the requirements of the National Curriculum and all that it entails.
The gates open officially at 8:39am, but often earlier. The gates are then closed at 8:49am so children have time to get to class ready for an 8:50am start.
The school day will end (from January 2024) at 3:20pm for all of KS1 and KS2. Children should be collected from outside their classrooms or designated area in the window from 3:20pm-3:30pm. For our reception class, they finish at 3:10pm.
Yes, we have a breakfast club that starts at 7:30am. Children will be provided with breakfast and a range of activities. We also have an after-school club that runs until 6pm where children will be provided with dinner and activities. Both clubs are run by our own staff on site.
